Purchases from Boots

After a rather short February Favourites post, I decided to go into Boots and have a wonder through the aisles to see what's new on the high street. I don't know if it's because I only went to a local tiny Boots or if it's because nothing jumped at me too much, but I didn't find too much that took my fancy. I am however, excited to try these out:

Soap and Glory One Heck of  A Blot £12
I've heard such great things about tho powder so I couldn't believed I had never tried it. I love how this comes in a sturdy case with a compact mirror because it makes touching up on the go so much easier.
Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner £6
If you didn't know, I'm a jet-black, winged liner kinda girl, and since the Collection Fast Stroke liquid liner, I haven't found a drugstore one that does better. I've heard a couple of eyeliner enthusiasts like me talk about this product, so I'm excited to try this out and get back to you.

MaxFactor Wild Eyeshadow Pencil £5.99
I've actually already tried this today and i have to say, I am quite impressed. I have the colour 05 Caramel Rage which is a lovely shimmery gold colour. I love how easy eyeshadow pencils are because they save precious seconds in the morning: all you need to do is Swipe and Blend and that's all. I have found however, that this fades during the day so I might need to find an eyeshadow to set it with.

MaxFactor Creme Puff Blush £8.99
There's actually a whole range of colours, just that day I felt like buying this lovely deep berry mauve colour in the shade 30 Gorgeous berries. These are baked blush which have such good colour payoff and I love love love the shimmer in these. They definitely remind me of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders so if you like those, try these as an alternative option.

Bourjois Paris Happy Light Matte Serum Primer £10.99
Recently, I've been wearing a lot of mineral powder foundations, which I love because they make your skin look great but it means that if you have oily skin, powdering over a powder can look a little caked on. That's why I've been hunting for a nice matte primer so I'll definitely have to report back on this one.

Lots of Love,
Sophie

Autumn Topshopping

As you all know, I love Autumn, but I don't love the cold air and rainy days... and to cheer me up, i decided to visit the online haven that is Topshop.

I was scrolling through the endless supply of clothes when I realised, I had scrolled through the same pages just a day before, and I also realised, I really don't need anything from Topshop...

This is actually part of a pyjama set £22.00 but I think the t-shirt is pretty cute...basically I needed pyjamas... and they're comfy.... what more do you want from PJ's?

This is the Viscose Slubby Tee £14.00, this may not look like much but it is potentially the easiest to wear t-shirt ever. It's plain, loose-fitting, perfect for casual wear but also great to we are under blazers or with skirts. Be warned though, the viscose makes for a see-through top...

and this may look like any old knitted jumper but I promise you, this hangs beautifully on the body and the v-neck is unbelievably flattering and is so comfortable just to wear around while shopping for more...

do you guys wanna hear a completely irrelevant story? well, my computer froze and I clicked on this a few too many times and well, i might have ordered 4... oh well... ill just return them the next time happen to be in Topshop.

 (clean rib jumper £38.00)

And yes this may not look the most flattering of tops but just take my word for it . It hugs the body amazingly and I especially like the long sleeves because I feel like they add a certain elegance to this khaki coloured crop top... and yes, of course there are other colours, and at some point of course I'm going to buy them, but for now I think this is a lovely colour for autumn. The ribbed material adds a detailed depth to this top as well as some much needed warmth...(Rib Crop top £26)

Lots of Love,

Body Shop Haul

It seems I haven't done a haul in a while, and so, here we go...
Camomile Cleansing butter £12.00
I haven't really heard much about this
but I bought this because I've
been looking to
get into cleansing butters and I just
wanted to try it out.
If it works, I'll DEFINITELY be doing
a post on this.

TEA TREE COOL & CREAMY WASH
£5.00 I've heard Essiebutton talk about
this and in the past my skin has reacted
well to tea tree so I thought that I'd give
it a try. I'm definitely glad that I went
for the creamy one instead on the
stronger astringent because this already
feels quite harsh on my sensitive skin.
But I'll try it out and let you know.

Camomile cleansing oil £10This, I have heard a lot about, on blogs,
youtube, everywhere. I have used this already
and I think this already compares to the
Bobbi Brown Cleansing oil even thought
it's double the price.
Vineyard Peach body butter £13If you haven't tried a body shop body butter,
where have you been? Every man and his
dog loves this, all round great butter,
makes skin soft and smooth. I have never tried
this scent before though and I have to say that it
smells AMAZING.
